I really like this. You always seem to have great understanding of colour regardless of the medium. I saw you mention in another post that you have lessons? Are you going to school currently?

I'm still taking the usual nude drawing lessons, which have helped me a great deal, plus once-a-month workshops like this where I acquire more familiarity with painting and colour. I'd love to do a more organic art schooling, but at the moment, it is not possible for me to follow classes by day, because of my day job.

That's great! I wish there were workshops around my area - I'd love to participate. Maybe I just need to look harder.

Yes, doing school and working is tough but I think it's wonderful that you find the time to take lessons and the workshops!

@Brian: I found my art teacher on the Internet looking for "Art schools in Frankfurt" and mailed every contact I could find until Ina agreed to teach me in English. Subsequently I found out that she also organized workshops. Perhaps you could look the same way. I understand that you live in the U.S., so you will not have the problem of language like I had.
